Hi. I am completely new to this but am about to softmod an xbox. im gonna get a used xbox from cex and an action replay kit along with splinter cell. I just want to know whats the best version of SID to download (I hear anything over 3.1 gets complicated) and if its available on the VIP HTML server?

hello there Bayub. Well the newest version of SID's is 4.5 w/ ndure in it. It is the best installer so far. Well it is actually pretty easy. All you have to do is d/l AID 2.1 or 3.0(2.1 is simpler for noobs). Once d/l ed the sid 4 files are in the AID d/l. You can get the torrent from the normal d/l's and just d/l the torrent. And before you burn it to a disk, read the tutorial in it about SID 4. It will explain it all. _________________ Moddingbandit

what I recommend is to download aid 3.0 it comes with SID 3.1 and SID 3.1 Lite and as well as the new SID 4.5 Nknave Edition, SID 4.5 is the most uptodate softmod out there. _________________

hellblazer how is he going to mod it if the xbox is unmodded? its not going to read unsiged codes...
he needs auction replay then transfer the sid4.0 files .. it should be 2 of them . the game save and the linux installer then mod it then u can use 4.5 or somitng... because it will read unsiged codes from there...

ROF! Oh man, what hell's saying is that AID 3 has the same files available as SID 4.5.. AID 3 is for chipped and softmods. You still need all the softmod materials like the mem card but it's all in one download so once the softmod with SID 4.5 is complete, he can turn to the same disk and install tools and the like using the same disk which is AID 3. _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th
