Ok both methods, when the xbox is turned on with the DVD tray closed will boot your dash of choice.
Knaves ndure open tray = retail, is for if you want to use Xbox Live (with original games). What this does is, if you turn on your xbox with the eject button, and leave the tray open, the softmod will be disabled so you can play on live.
dual open tray = gamesave menu is for softmod menu. If you power up with the eject button (tray open) with this type installed, it will bring you to the menu where you are now, for softmod config, etc.
So the choice is yours really, depending on if you want to play on Live.
But for the simplest SID4, single boot is the easiest to install, (and hardest to screw up ) and takes you straight to your default dashboard, no matter what. The only way to access the softmod installer is by using the game used to softmod.

that was good info.....
yea so if u dont use live i'd use single boot but again its pretty cool to use more then 1 dashboard so u can have 2 hacked dasboards. evox and ux or ux and avaluach.. as you update your dash or u chang it...
but roo465 has a point there its hard to break the mod in single boot
as were the game save mode is very very easy to break it ....
but ultimately is up to you .....
u can stil acces the installer and re mod it by poping in the game and re doing everyitng as if u were to mod it 1st time... _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition
