Have you tried Xbox-Hq autoinstaller that DJB made?
It will format your HD, add all your apps, reinstall your dashboard and even the MS dash!
just a thought, I don't know if that helps your situation or not.

Burn the ISO onto either a CD-RW, DVD-R, or DVD-RW as most Xbox's won't read CD-R's unfortunately. The best program I've found for burning this is DVD Decrypter, as it wil let you burn this ISO on to a DVD (for a funny reason I can't get Nero to do it, probably coz of the ISO size).
Now, you can burn this straight away, as it can come useful. You can use this CD to access your network aswell, so you can make a full backup of your old drive (including game saves) before you insert the new drive.
Then, insert your new drive, format and install it, then if you want you can grab the game saves from your backup and put them on your new HDD.
Hopefully this info can point you more in the right direction...

No problem at all mate. Just remember to always pass on the information you learn to others in the forum. The reason our site is getting so much respect is coz of how friendly our members are
You know, you could just get back to me and tell me that you've got it all working fine, why is it always problems I hear about??!? (just kidding).
Anyways let us know how you go...
