Not quite sure if understand your question. Are you saying that the full 180gb isn't being recognized. There are a lot of posts about large drives not having all the gigs showing.Basically you need to use a bios that supports a large F partition or a F and G partition. Most of the newer bios's have this option.Like Evox M8+ or the later Xecuter 2 multi bios. You must enable LBA48 in the bios .Use evtool or xbtool to configure your bios. You have several choices under LBA48 option. Also depending on your dash you can configure settings to recognize a larger drive. _________________ Xbox V 1.0

Sort of but i was more leaning towards that my bios supports the larger hard disc and i partitioned a 180gb drive so that was ok. But would the large partition that was accepted by the bios have any problems with programs or other applications in the future??
It doesnt really matter now cause i did partition it into a 120gb and 60 gb drives but i thought it was an interesting question at the time. _________________ So many problems, so little time to inflict them on others.
