If we don't see it within the next few days, I suggest a little friendly competition... Photoshop your own concept image of what you think the XBP might look like...

Haha, okay... It's really crappy because I did it in about 20 minutes and used Flash instead of Paintshop... Ah, well. It's something to get this ball rolling anyway.

Everyone feel free to submit your own "concept images."

Very Happy

The more I look at it, the dumber and funnier it looks. Just imagine how awkward it would be to hold that thing...

Ahh, good times.

haha, that is pretty funny. I guess my main question would be if it was controlled by a controller or if it employs some sort of psp type controller option, ON the system itself. With that knowledge, you'd be able to mock-up some interesting concept images.

He basically answered that question in one of his replies, if you read the entire thing.

He said that there would be two controller ports on the console.

Now whip up them images Very Happy

The ONLY part left of factory xbox is most of the motherboard and graphic chip heat sink. All else is replaced/shrunk rerouted/eliminated.

DVD drive is connected externally for transfer. Ethernet intact for transfer as well.

Im working on ultra thin laptop DVD drive as well to be a removable/slide in place attachment.

More details/vids/pics to come this month.... Final stretch!

And I used a 5inch Sony PSX lcd... Actually a few parts from Sony....... LOL

As stated earlier, it will have additional 2nd player port.

i got a better idea for one, altho cooling would be hellish

why not house it in a laptop case? u could use the 2.5in hdd and the laptop dvd (of course it would only play backups) the controllers could plug in vertically

if you already got the xpod workin on Li-Ion then the same principle could be applied here and then could also have some form of charging unit just like any other laptop

am i talking well ito the realms of fantasy here or mite this be possible? any input from you experianced case designers?

Ill post everything soon.

Triggers are intact on underside of unit. Designed unit to work with standard 12v charger.

And a laptop case would be huge compared to the units size. Dont let that stop anyone from designing their own units! I will help as best I can through this site.

A laptop battery source was initial thought.... However, they are extremely hard to work with, very expensive.
