Nice work. Everything worked out ok with the import then? I was also going to import one but decided to wait. Since this topic is going nowhere... What do you think the chances of Australia getting a V1.1 on launch day is? Also is there a way to tell where & when it was made like the old xbox? Yeah i'm pretty much the same with not playing much lately. I went a little nuts with the fan modds. I've tryed the standard 12v modd. Works ok but sounds like a chinook landing so i ordered in a Vantec blue UV LED fan to replace that. I also found a cheap 80 mil when I was ordering the three pin power splitter so i'm thinking a Halouser special on the side job. I was in d1ck Smith eletronics yesterday and spotted a mini fan for under the HD so i thought what the hell. Then theirs the top mount? Going to be fun finding out how to power em all? Oh and i also ordered some Arctic Silver 5 thermal compound. I've been having more fun modding my xbox than actually playing it. _________________ X3_1892

yep all went well on the import..
I think overall by importing you will save some dollars in the long run because i heard in news releases around the site that the aussie release will be 30% dearer for everything including games.
Also Australia and New Zealand will be sharing.. Which is bad i think especially if M$ only intends on giving a certain amount. If the USA launch is anything to go off i believe the aussie launch will be just the same with shortacges and people not getting their pre-orders.
But i could be wrong too..
I posted comments in one of the news stories here somewhere ill find it for you.
