Posted: Thu Dec 01, 2005 10:02 am Post subject: Known issues updating Slayer 2.6 with AID?
I have been very happy with my Slayer install, especially XBMC but I have been unable to upgrade it. Wiping it, (TCAHCHE, Saves, everyhting) and FlashFXPing new copies on just fails (not launching from the dashbaord).
I want to now install XBMC from the AID 2.1. Are there any known incompatibilities between the two auto installers or can I just pop AID in and install just XBMC?

The auto installer does exactly that, it helps install the dashboards and other tools. Using AID to install XBMC would work well regardless as to whether you used the old Slayers installer or installed the dash via ftp. _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th
