I am aware everyone uses FlashFXP as a FTP client but does anyone know of others that are FREEWARE. I laredy freesed up big $$ to get my Modded box, now I need to recoup that and not by spending yet more $$.
Can anyone suggest? Thanks

I have used FTP Commander when I needed a freeware client. It will also work fine from a USB thumb-drive. This is great when you do not have administrative privileges on a computer .

I use SmartFTP, While it is not freeware. you can use it as much as you want for personal use without any nagging messages. They just ask that you pay if you are going to use it for any other purposes.
