I read a similar thread in this section but I recently installed the Xecuter 3 CE into my Xbox v 1.5. The system loaded up with out problem. I flashed the bios via CD rom and HTTP using Evox v2.4, Evo D.6, X3 bios, flashbios v_303. All resulting in the same problem. The bios is updated as expected and X box shuts done. When i turn the X box on again. the Xbox boots up, shuts down, boots up shuts down and then boots up again with the LED blue and the eject button flashing red and green. I read a similar thread in this section but I am stil able to boot the back up and disable chip. I have checked my installation over again and all solder points seem good and intact. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I dont think its an installation problems because all default settings are running as expected. I dont think my bios are corrupt because I have tried several versions including Flashbiox v303 downloaded from team executer. Please help.

Hey jeev14, make sure you have the correct switch settings on the X3 control switch when you attempt to flash. The switching on and off sounds as if the X3 is trying to boot off a bios thats not there. I had similar probs with mine, but changed the switch settings to suit a 1Mb bios, and it all worked out.

For your first flash, the switch should be on on off off. Flash your preferred bios (definitely use an X3 bios, because of X3CL), then set all switches to off, except flash protect, and try powering up again. If your flash was successful, you should now have X3 Config Live.

For more on the X3 switch, go to http://home.comcast.net/~x3guide/Old/SwitchInfo.htm

Let me know how you go Very Happy

Cheers,
Roo

Jeev14,
What version is your xbox? "If you get FRAG, then you have a bad solder joint on the LPC - check everything again (this shows your D0 point is correct as it is switching the Xbox to the LPC bus successfully - however by getting FRAG its showing that the LPC bus cannot read the bios from the mod)" -from Team xecuter.com. Check around pins 13 and 14 very carefully, (these are only used AFTER you flash the chip, and the flashbios backup can still operate even if there is some soldering errors, but the bios cannot be read from the chip.)
