There are plenty of people here willing to help and this site is very useful. The $10 fee for this site is money well spent. It is also useful to read different forums form different sites because you may learn something new that may or may not be posted on the site.
PS I heard xbox-hq may take over xbox scene in the future.

sorry i didn't say what i want to upgrade. i've been wanting to ugrade my xbox hdd.

If your xbox is chipped and running a hacked dashboard like evo or something already then all you need to do is buy yourself the new hdd,

Don`t worry about all the rubbish people with softmods have to do to achive this.
If you`re using the xbox for xbox live then you won`t be able to use the xbox on xbox live with the bigger hdd in it.
nothing stopping you from throwing the lid to your xbox away and swapping hdd`s over whenever you want or indeed getting one of those
xtender case mods or even a diy pc case mod.
