I just burned AID 2.11 with DVD Decrypter with the Verify selected. I built the image with the AID Updater and added the 500mb dummy file. I burned it to a Great Quality DVD+RW disc which I use for all my DVD backup needs with no issues.
My Xbox has an Excecuter 2 chip and has already been set up by someone else and boots to XBMC.
When I try and boot with AID the system still boots to XBMC but when it get's to the dash the video goes black.
I have burned several copies with varrying dummy file sizes all with the same result.
What should I try next?

If you are confident you are doing everything correctly then I would suggest trying different media. Even though you say you media is great, your xbox might not agree. With aid 2.11 I had to use a dvd+r rather than a cdrw which had been previously read in my xbox, it just didnt like it. Your drive may not like dvd+rw even though it is a good brand. So I would suggest trying it on a dvd+r or a different brand or both even. Either way you will eventually get it and it sure is a great program to have. _________________ Xbox V1.6

Exactly..
Just try another brand of media.. Personally ive always found dvd-r to be best in all xboxes.. but give whatever you want a try.. you will soon find the media to use in your xbox.

Yes it was the media. I used a Maxell dvd+R and it booted fine in my Phillips drive Xbox. Thanks javascript:emoticon('')

Glad to hear you got it working! Now I suggest making a copy of it again to save in a safe place in case the main disc gets damaged and you would have to do everything over. _________________ Xbox V1.6
