Hi,
Just done 3rd XBOX (PAL - Dec 2004 MODEL) with the SID 3.0 / AID 2.11 Final, splinter cell exploits transferred via memory card. Evox dash installed.
Follow the tutorials for a smooth install.
Softmodding Just do it !!!
I have a queue building up for the xbox softmod......
I also do these for free.

Good work.. Congrats on the flawless installs.
Wont be long and youll have plenty under your belt you modder you! hehe lol
Dont forget if your doing a few softmods to jot down your own tutorial to help other members here on HQ.. Maybe even tak some screenshots or grab some from off the net..
Give something back to HQ who produces this cool software..
We need help with tutorials etc etc on HQ.. So if you have 10 minutes just jot down your methods..

i have a version 1.6 unmodded and a v1.6 modded with x3 i want to softmod and install a larger drive but i am still having trouble understanding how to get the key from the unmodded drive can you help me compdocia@hotmail.com send steps that would be great

Hi compdoc,
bascially.
To get the HDD keys from the UNMODDED XBOX you will need to INSTALL A SOFTMOD onto the retail HDD.. Then you can use AID/SID to do a backup of your eeproms and other information.
Once you get the backup from your C:\backup\ directory on yoru xbox you can then click on RESTORE BACKUP and it will copy everything back and make your xbox retail again!
Once you get your softmod installed you can then backup the keys and ftp them from the NEW MODDED XBOX to your pc..
Once you get the keys you can then do a RESTORE BACKUP using SID and it will copy everything back to a NON-MODDED ORIGINAL XBOX..!
Personally i wouldnt suggest you DONT unlock the RETAIL NON-MODDED XBOX HDD otherwise you will get a error.. Leave it locked and as a backup for if anything goes wrong.. You can always install the original hdd again and use the xbox..
