I installed AID and i got it to the point where the screen with the trainers and everything were (it was green and had four characters at the top) but when I tried to play halo 2 when I tried to load the game it wouldnt load. So I played around with it and then all I got were the 13 and 21 error screens with the green lettering on the black background. Then I tried to load backup files. Now I have the original HD screen but I still cant get the game to load. I would like my Xbox returned to normal. I shouldnt have even tried to soft mod my xbox because I have never done anything like this before and im only 13. If anyone know how to help me and can I would greatly appreciate it.

Hopefully youbacked up your m$dash at some point. If you did, all you have to do is boot by pressing the eject button. Select the restore m$dash and your good to go. You can also boot from the game you did the softmod with. That will take you to the same screen.
If you didn't backup your retail dash then you'll have to do pirrup's HotSwap.

Oh, I Deleted Any Chance I Had Of Using THe Backup Because I Deleted The Mechassualt Linux Program. The Hotswap Looks Too Risky, The Entire Reason I Tried To Soft Mod Is I Didnt Want TO Open My Xbox. Oh Well Im Screwed... Thanks Anyway.

I have the xbox hard drive back now but the games wont work. Do I still Need to use the hotswap? I Got the HD BAck because I had it on my computer ( well, atleast the c and e folders) I deleted the x y and z folders because I heard that they were used to mod the box but I have them on backup. Cant I just get rid of the modding files from my box? If I can I dont know which ones to delete.

Ah, there's the issue. No the X,Y,Z are ligit folders and used by xbox as a cache. Try reinstalling the folders and you should be in good shape. You didn't by change delete Udata and Tdata folders did you?
