Hey I am new to this modding thing but I was wonder if I could mod my xbox through my router WITHOUT using Action Replay or a mod chip? My friend did it and he said it was very easy to do. but I don't know, I am a " noob" at this kind of stuff. Could anyone help me out? or at least point me in the right direction?

Please don't duplicate post in different forums. It creates extra work for those that are trying to answer you. I have not heard of modding through a router. Might suggest he give you some pointers, try sharing them here and see if it might work but honestly, we provide tried and true methods of modding. I would consider the fact that you are adding work to something that could be quite easy. _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th

Then how else would I do it? I don't have action replay or a mod chip so is it possible I could do it without using those?

Well i gave up on my friends whole idea of modding through the router. And I think you know that what I meant by modding is Soft-modding. My friend has a website. It should have a tutorial somewhere of how he did it using splinter cell and his network
