well just recently ive been searching on doing some modding to my xbox.. just to have a little more fun when friends come over. Been doing alot of reading on the how-to's..
but im having trouble finding the files i need.. I Pm'd one of the guys from this site asking where to get the file i needed, and he said to forget the old version find the new one to get the most out of my xbox...
my question is.. is there a real difference from v.2 & v.3
if so.... where can i download v.3??

that is a link for the torrent of AID 2.11 which has SID 3 lite within it, its best to download both because you will eventually download AID because it is so much easier to install apps

yeah torrents can be slow if they aren't seeded well. if you donate just 10 dollars to become a VIP you will have access to our VIP servers. Only two of them are up right now and they aren't very fast becuase everyone is crowding them, but when the two main ones are up you will see that the donation is worth that alone. if you need any more help just say so.

The main difference between SID 2 and SID 3 is the system it uses for the softmod.
SID 2 uses the Phoenix BIOS Loader (PBL) system, which uses a specially configured BIOS loaded from the HDD.
SID 3 uses the NKpatcher system, which is the newest there is. This doesn't require a BIOS file like SID 2.
At the moment I'm working on a SID 3.1 Final which will include both the NKpatcher and PBL system, also the NKpatcher system will be more advanced, using more of the options available in it.

no, im gonna go rent them when i need to use them...
but i mean to put some cool mods to like halo... and games like that

ok im kinda confused on how to install v3 i just downloaded, and read up on how to install v2... woops
so whats a good link for exact directions on v3 install on a unmodded xbox

You need to copy the gamesave over to your xbox using the MS dash, which will put it in the E:\UDATA folder. You must use a memory card or usb device of some sort to copy those files from your PC to put onto your Xbox, you can't burn a disc and except the xbox to read it.

ok ive screwd the xbox up about 9 times now.. so good thing i have a back up right lol...
uh... lets see, i got my skin up and running, can play games.. but i can't connect to live? reason being.. its seting my IP address and it should be automatic how can that be fixed? i figured i go over to MS dashboard and switch but its not loading.
