after that all you need to do is tell it to install the mod then tell it to install the dashboard (i perfer unleashx) then make sure to back up the mod
fo xbox live all you need to do is get to that screen and make sure you backup the mod again then restore ms dash, then it should be good for xbox live

Ya, i tryed them instructions, they really didnt help me too much.
But after i do Create MS backup and then Install Softmod and then Install UnleashX dashboard, is something suppose to happen?? cause nothing did, and am i suppose to do something else after i click on Install UnleashX?
Go to the "Softmod Section" and select "Install NKpatcher + MS Dash", this will format your C Drive and set it up the softmod and ms dash to work alongside each other. You have the same options with the boot location and tray open/clsoed feature, so use the same as you used previously. Please note if you installed your Dashboard to C you will have to re-install it again, because the C Drive was formatted before the NKpatcher + MS Dash option was operated. Another note, make sure you install the dashboard from the "Softmod Section" and not from the main menu, because the dashboard installation setup in the main menu is for modchip users only.

thats were i installed the unleashX thing when i was in SID
i install them to c when i install softmods, but thats just me

i would install to c:\ so if you want to revert back to a UNMODDED xbox you can just choose M$ Backup and it will format and only copy back the original files.. The rest of your XBOX HARDDRIVE will then be fine.
