So...
Ok.. if you want to transfer files to and from your xbox you can use your PC and a FTP CLIENT like flashfxp ftp..
To setup your xbox on the same network as your PC you need to know what ip address range your pc or router is using..
Do this.
1. Click Start Menu
2. Click Run
3. Type 'cmd' and press enter (without the '')
4. type 'ipconfig /all' and press enter
it will now be showing you all your ip information.. Paste a copy in the forums here so i can help you assign your xbox with the correctly ip address.

You can use CONFIG MAGIC which is a XBOX APPLICATIOn to unlock your hdd.. But seriously why do you want to unlock your hdd?? You dont need to unlock your hdd to transfer files..
