Like the topic says. I love to play battlefiled 2 demo but now that i softmodded i cant play it. It runs the disc then when i go to the game it says xbox needs service., THats on a cold boot. If i run it through openiong ms dash or unleash it will run but cant go online. anyone please lemme know if u know why i cant plat this demo...

trust me- you dont want to play this demo- i mean hell, its awesome! (I've played it through live) but the demo runs ONLY through live- and since your box is modded i wouldent recommend goinig on live (since more than likely you will get banned) so i would say- restore MS Dash- then play online- after your done redo your softmod.

you can't go on live anymore, not even with cold boot, so i hear.
it seem that now games have the code to scan hd b4 going on xbox live, battlefiled 2 might have this feature built in the demo.
well, it seems that microsoft is fighthing us hard.

Well i was on live last night plying black hawk down with no problems. From a cold boot. but htast makes sense as to why it wont work for battlefield. So i guess to play battlefield i will uninstall and then reinstall...But as for no xboxlive on softmod im thinkin that is only for that game.
