basically, i have both versions of the game, they work flawlessly when region type is set correctly.
what im asking is. could i just take the xbe from the pal version and call it "gtapal.xbe"
rename the ntsc one to "gtantsc.xbe"
and use a launcher to select the correct one.
im asking because i want a single backup of both versions on the same disc, but they wont fit.
could i keep either the pal/ntsc files and just put both xbes in there?
this is what my layout would be if possible.

..data
..models
..text
default.xbe <-----launcher
gtapal.xbe
gtantsc.xbe
savepic.xbx
stream.ini

i want both to save time launching.
I play monkey ball and time splitters2 a lot. and both require region changes, so my region gets changed quite a bit in config magic. it would be easier if i could just launch the appropriate version on the same disc.
also my tv downstairs doesnt support ntsc. If i had a pound for every time ive legged it up and down stairs, just because i bought the incorrect version down lol.

well, i know that Avalaunch can autoswitch to the correct region..... you might wanna look into that i have a few PAL games and have NEVER had a problem or had to change anything manually

well, i have problems with avalaunch, and only really use unleash x now.
i have gone ahead with my original ide and sofar so good. the xbe's must be the only difference in the whole set of files.
