That and I tried running the second bank again, now the FLASHBIOS still works, except absolutely nothing shows up on the screen now when I run that.
Gonna try reloading a 2x Xecuter (latest one) so it uses the full meg.

You can't do anything at all right now right? It won't boot into the dashboard or anything?
Then do a complete BIOS flash over both banks. It obviously won't mess it up anymore. In fact you normally don't see that screen you mention unless it needs to be flashed. _________________ "Modding the world, one xbox at a time"

Meh, all this work to get the EEPROM.
Actually, right now I'm trying to flash the BIOS with the 512k xecuter bios on slots 1 and 2, and the FLASHJBIOS 3.03 on teh other 2.
Hope this works...
if it doesn't, then 2x of the 512 shouldnt do any damage...

Ok,. same problem before. Says loading config live or whateve,r and then loas the flubber, and then it repeats itself...

uh oh.
So both banks now have the Xecuter...I kinda just screwed over any chance of having FLASHBIOS on there.
That and I tried booting with chip off and It froze after flubber.
Crap.
You think that removing the chip would do anything?

still nothing. With the Xecuter BIOS it just loops, and chip off it stalls after the flubber.

Sounds like you need to flash the BIOS externally or do a hot swap.

This is begining to sound like a hard drive issue.
Won't boot with the chip off or on.
