Hi,
I am looking to soft mod my brand new xbox - i have read the various 'articles' relating to this process but still can't decide which would be the best way to do the mod - some of the tutorials are a little confusing
I have possible access to a chipped xbox - what is the best method to perform the mod ?
This is how i understand the process - is it correct ?
Is it a case of transfering the 'exploit' game save via FTP to the modded xbox , copying that onto a memory card and then loading the original game disc into the 'new' xbox and then loading the save from the memory card to access the new dash ?
Sorry if this post subject is repeated somewhere, but I would just like a bit of re-assurance before I start mucking about with my new xbox!!

You can FTP the game save to your modded xbox or if you have it on a cd just copy it to the xbox. After you have it on the memory stick then you have to save it on your new xbox hard drive. Then insert the game that your going to be installing the exploit with. Then follow the Tutorial
Just make your you have AID. ver 2.02 not AID ver 2.00 becuase you will get an error when you install the Nkpather + MS Dashboard

Hiya mate, once you have transfered the exploit from the modded xbox to a fresh memory card you need to plug your memory card into your non modded xbox go to the save manager and transfer the exploit from the memory card to the xbox hdd, once you have loaded the exploit onto the hdd load your exploitable game, and follow the instructions on how to access the exploit (I use Agent Under Fire and to access the exploit you go to load game then load the exploit) depending on which game you are using. I presume when you say using a cd with the exploit 'game save' on and copying it to the xbox- you mean into the modded one, then copy it to the memory card in the modded box.
Sorry about the query....just need to be 100% before doing it !!
Also I have Splinter Cell - classic 2 disc version. will this work for the soft mod ??.
looking around the forum some say it will others say not !
Any ideas ?
