hey guys i have just tried to folllow this so called easy tutorial ro softmod my xbox well know i cant load my m$ dash or any othe for that matter i am truly a newb the tut i read can be found here

can you still cold boot ganes? if so just reinstall the M$ backup (if you did that) and that will bring back the M$ dahs and then you can install the softmod and then unleashx or evox (if you're using SID 3.0 or the like). if you cant even cold boot from games, you can hot swap or get help from a friend with a chipped box. if you have a friend, throw your hdd in it with an AID disc and just reinstall the M$ dash and nothing else. when you put it back iin your box it will work like normal and then you can reinstall the softmod. to do that .... launch the linux instlaler create msbackup, instlal softmod, install evoX or unleashX, patch ms5960, and you should be good. hope any of this helps _________________ Blue Chaos
