ok ill be up front and honest, i deleted my Evox and MSdash and its no ones fault but mine, i skipped a page in the manual on accident (the page that told me to backup all my shtuff) then i reformated not thinking of what the term ment.... well i get error 13 when i try to boot up, and error 14 when i try to boot up with my working AID disk. so i hear this hotswap is the only option for a problem like this?

You'll have to do the game exploit again. You can put the gamesaves in the appropriate folder ahead of time though. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

alright, thats not to big of a deal. thanks man ill be back if things go wrong, eventually they have to.
MMk so its going to be the hotswap first, then the game exploit to bring things back to normal.

Everything you need is in the AID download. Extract the iso and look in the files folder. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

OK, listen carefully
In the tools folder, you will find PC Tools. Click on the Essentials and install c-xbox tool.
Start up c-xbox tool click iso extraction. Now click add and navigate to the AID folder. Select the AID v3 file and click start.
Once it is extracted, navigate to the folder you just created. Look in the files folder. You should find everything you need. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

Under normal softmod circumstances, you would get AID, extract the rar file, burn the iso in the extracted files and get the softmod files from the tools folder. Besides using the AID updater and maybe installing some pc essentials, that's all one would have to do.
In your case, you need the dash backups. Since you didn't save any backups on you pc, you need to get the necessary files.
You actually have the files. They are buried in the AID iso. Since your pc doesn't read xbox formated discs, you need to extract the iso. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS
