Hey, i've softmodded my xbox but i need some help.
I want to use the ActionReplay i bought to like transfer save games and stuff.
When i softmodded, i deleted my MS Dash (Get error 21 when i try and run it) so i have no idea how to view my save game files on my harddrive and/or my memory card.
If someone could tell me an app, or tell me a way to install the MS Dash, it would be appreciated.

Yes i think many have done the very same thing i have done it myself.
ok first of all this can be fixed by
1. Pirrups hotswap tutorial
2. buying and installing a chip for your xbox
3. if you havent deleted the saved softmod program on your xbox run the game you used ie. mech assault, james bond ect. ect
then run the linux program and press restore m$ dash unless you didnt back it up. if you didnt reinstall the softmod.
note error 21 means:
21 - anywhere -
This error says that the machine was booted to display a error, basically someone told the machine to reboot (or launch a xbe) with this flag, and the error code just means its been rebooted by the flag
This occurs frequently when the xbox is unable to boot due to dashboard changes being made (ie Gcue true blue hasnt been resigned, parts of the stock dash are missing - incomplete FTP backups copied to a new HDD for example). _________________

use AID to re-install M$ dash is all you need to do

i ahven't burned AID to a disk since 1.01 but on that verson it was under install Miscrosoft Dashboard

Personally, I'd reinstall the softmod and use the UnleashX dashboard. One of its' biggest selling points for me was that it has it's own gamesave manager with the ability to download gamesaves off the Internet. If you've got an AID2 disc, it's simple.
First, you format C, then reinstall the softmod (I use PBL+MSDash), then install Dashboard UnleashX to the E drive. It should work without a problem. That method's worked every time I've done a softmod, anyway. _________________ XBOX V 1.0 (softmod)
