I'll try to make this as short as possible... 1st I've try doing the chip mod with the S.P.ICE but could'nt get all the lights lite on my 1.6 so I tried it on my 2- 1.0's that didn't work so I looked into the softmod option. Many thanks to forahobby for a awesome tutorial. Anyway I followed each step and I did back-up to e: first thing. When I got to this part (Go to the "Softmod Section" and select "Install NKpatcher + MS Dash", this will format your C Drive and set it up the softmod and ms dash to work alongside each other) as it was doing it's thing I got and error so I tried several time to do it again...kept getting errors... So I tried to restore from e: and that gave me errors... Again i tried several times. Here's where I messed up I tried to reboot and when I did I got the service error's in all those different languages. I guess my question is how do I restore the orignal at this state. So I can pretty much start all over again. LOL.

Yeah yesterday I was trying to install NKpathcer + MS Dash but it gave me an error "Batch parocess faild and The last iteam was rename". But then I tried the other option the one with the PBL or something like that and it work great. Before this I has done like 4 tires using the NKpathcer but noting it would give me the "Xbox live is updating your system" error when I would boot the xbox.

I did try the procedure and again got errors. This time I tried a different dash and that worked. I'll have to use the .02 next time. Many Thanks PIRRUP for all your help! I hate to ask but I thought this site would have the upgrade of AID 2.02... I have searched the downloads all I find is 2.0 ver. Is it on this site or do I have to use torrents? It took me 4 days just to download 2.0 lol. The fastest I can get is a satellite ISP where I live...

Hustler - Yes you will have to make another disk. I have been looking everwhere for the .02 upgrade and the only place I find it is torrents. O'well That what I gotta do. I just have a slow ISP so it takes me forever. Good luck.

1. download update pack
2. download aid2.rars
3. extract aid2.rar to your pc hdd so you have the aid2.iso
4. Now start the AID update tool which is in the /tools/ folder of the extracted aid2.rar..
5. Select the update pack.ra
6. Select the AID2.iso and click GO or START
7. It will then ask where you want to save the iso.

hope that helps...
whoever emailed me about this topic please be more descriptive in the future.. I receive 100's of emails per day and there is no way i could remember everybodies issues individually.

l8r guys and enjoy the site.
