I have a friend whos kids have buggered several controllers. I would like to attempt to repair them for her. It would be nice to know where to start though...any ideas if there is a program / util that will let you connect a controller and go through each button to verify proper functionality?

i dont know if there is an app that would let you do that ,

but playing games would surely let you figure it out quickly

I thought DJB had a joypad text app in his Auto Installer.
