Is there anyhow I can share my internet conection using my cable modem? My cable modem has a USB and a RJ45 support. Is there anyhow I can connect the USB cable to my PC and the RJ45 to the xbox using my cable modem and share the internt connection. To play on Xlink Kai, or do I need a router.

Hi el_matador,
If you have a USB MODEM and a spare NETWORK CARD then you should be able to share the internet just fine to your xbox.
All you have to do is this.
1. Choose 'Start Menu'
2. Choose 'Settings' then 'Network Connection'
3. Now right click your internet connection and choose 'properties'
4. Click on the ADVANCED tab which is located in one of the tabs accross the top of the properties pages
5. Now click the tick box or option that says' SHARE INTERNET. or ICS.. (Internet Connection Sharing).. Thats it for the PC
6. Give your xbox a ip address of:
XBOX IP INFO:
IP: 192.168.0.2
SUBNETT: 255.255.255.0
GATEWAY: 192.168.0.1
DNS: *SAME AS YOUR PC DNS
To get your pc DNS you can do a 'ipconfig /all' in DOS.. It will then display all your information.
