Hello everybody, I just finished my download of AID 2.0. However, I have a serious problem. My internet is quite slow and it took me quite a long time to download it off bittorrent. Now, I find that the .rar file is corrupt! Did I do something wrong? Please respond.
PS: I will also try to download the new WinRAR.

ya i tried 2 download the new winrar its beta 7 i wuz using 5, but i still had the same prob :S... i really dont want 2 spend money on something that free, please help me btw sorry 4 double post.

OMFG GUYS IM SOOOO HAPPY IM STUPID!
i think i wuz using winrar to open an iso cuz windows wuz confusing the iso as a winrar file i hope everything goes well triple post woop woop its not corrupt its jus opening wit the wrong thing!

Yea, winrar always confuses an .iso for a native program file type. _________________ XBOX v1.6

omg this is sucking it still doesnt open on my computer, is it because its saved in a special iso form like xiso? or is it really corrupt? the file is 625 megs which is the correct size if im not wrong.
edit: also, do i need a dummy file? im burning aid 2 a cd-rw

WinRAR can explore and unpack the ISO image after you recompile it for burning. Before you recompile it, though, I'd recommend you get the 2.02 update pack and run the updater tool. Well he probably isn't going to go exploring after recompiling. It seems like he wants to burn it.
You have to burn it as a disc image man. When you burn the one .iso as an image to a disc, you really copied the entire face of the disc.
Meaning, once burnt as an image, you will have many files on the disc.
And update to 2.02 like he mentioned. Might as well, especially for softmods. _________________ XBOX v1.6

thanks, i'l make some backups of the ready disk image and try out all the suggestions. one sec tho, what do u mean by recompile? and im using a maxell cd-rw on a thompson drive if it makes a difference.
