I performed a softmod on my original xbox hard drive. I then installed a 60gig hard drive using Xbox HDM 1.9 with my PC. I had no problem except I ran out of room. I just purchased a 200 gig hard drive and did another install using Xbox HDM 1.9 like my previous install. Everything looks great except I can't get the past the 137 gig barrier.
I tried reading faqs and posts out there but can't find the solution. From what I have read and understand, if G: is unlocked that is where the extra 63 gigs is stored. I have G: enabled but it reads 0. I have also read that you can make one big F: drive as well. I understand that you need to edit the EvoX.ini file but the string that needs to be in there has me confused. Here is my info:
EvoX Version+3935
Bios Version (256)4817 Retail
Current Hard Drive Allocation:
c: 511.066.112
e: 4.709.269.504
f: 126.121.426.944
g: 0
x: 786.300.928
y: 786.300.928
z: 786.300.928
If anyone can shed some light or point me in the right direction, It would be appreciated.
Thanks

if you mod you xbox you could use EVtool_1.0.9; mod as in using a chip to mod not softmod

Or you could use the AID2 disc to format the G drive and get your space. It should make it about 63 gigs for the G partition. I just installed a 200 GB HDD for a friend of mine, all softmod. _________________ XBOX V 1.0 (softmod)

Michael & Kilroy,
Thanks for advice. Kilroy I followed your step and It worked. Now I have 63.393.48 free on G: I am guessing that I can't do anything about X, Y, & Z with their 786.300.928 mb on each drive? Or is their a way to allocate that to F & G? Here is my current allocation now after fix:

they are needed for the good working of your games
Exactly. the XBOX uses those partitions as cache and swapfile space when you're running games, and apps as well if you're running a softmod setup. Typically, you don't even need to clear the caches in those partitions, and you absolutely don't want to mess with them unless you want a crippled softmod. _________________ XBOX V 1.0 (softmod)
