so can anything be a dummy file? just rename it dummy and trow it on the disc ... or how do i add a dummy file basically ??? real simple. hoping for a quick answer _________________ Blue Chaos

no ,
you would have to extract the iso , add the dummy file then recreate the iso ,
just to let you know , i have never used any dummy files for any installers , and i pretty much have used most of them out there ,
so i dont really see a need for it ,
also , if you are having problems booting ...... from what you said it looks like you are not burning the iso correctly ,
instead of droping the iso on the dvd open it with nero , then check the finalize dvd box and hit burn _________________ Xbox v1.0/1.1/1.5/1.6a
