Hello all. I have studied these forums for the past few days and was ready for all problems I would encounter. Then I ran into a problem. I successfully got the SID files on my Hdd, but when I load the save game it freezes on that screen. My frustrations are at its height and I can't figure what else I did wrong. I have the original Splinter Cell and my X-Box was bought new last sunday. I need help ASAP, I can be reached on AIM at AngorTheEnrage and on MSN at UnknownSpecter@hotmail.com.

What method did you use the transfer the gamesave over. If you used the Action replay you might need to try the official xbox memory card. Alternatively you can buy a Mega X-Key which is the best thing going, it stores 32mb of gamesaves and is more reliable than a memory card (more easy to use with your PC too, hehe).
Program solved thanks to dprules. It turns out it was the BitTorrent files. It's all been cleared up since. He stayed on 2 hours to help. I can't speak enough on how helpful he was.
Well I made the backup, installed the softmod, but now I am at another small problem. I put the AID disc in and install all that's there, but nothing looks like it saved and when I restart I am back at the original softmod install screen. I'll look around a litttle, but I can't figure out what is wrong.
Ok, still can't load the dash(anyone have a screen shot of the EvoX Dash?), but now I am stuck with the dreaded Live Loop. I can get around it momentarily if and only if Splinter Cell is loaded. How can I fix this?
Ok, everything is fix and I even did a back-up. Thanks guys for the help. Especially dprules.
I just have a future reference question. How would I go about getting rid of all the softmod if I wanted to go on Live. I just don't want to have to search for hours for that later. Thanks again.

Very easily. You need to use AID 2 with this.
* Format your C Drive (do this by using the format/prepare hdd option)
* Install the MS Dash (use the Install dashs option in the main menu, not softmod menu)

I am getting the Batch Failure Error with renaming on my friend's X-Box. How can I rectify this?
I love the speedy responses I get here.
Also, will reformatting wipe my save games?

You need to update the AID 2.0 ISO to 2.02 (I'm assuming it's 2.0 that the error is with).
Your gamesaves will only be wiped if you format E, if you format C that will only get rid of the MS Dash, plus your hacked dash (ie: evox) if it's stored on there too.

I have the AID 2.02 file, but I have no idea what to do with it. Is is a full AID program or just an update. Please help, asap, my friend shall be arriving soon.
Alright, I have the new AID 2.02 DVD burnt and all, but my new problem is the same as before. I have the X-Box Live loop only nothing is fixing it. I inserted Splinter Cell and Burnout 3 to no avail. Replay ASAP.
