I recently softmoded my Xbox and It froze while I was unistalling it. Now I have error screen 16. I know that this is a hardrive error. Does anyone know how I can fix it?

Well one thing is to know the error codes. 16 is not a hard drive issue.
16 - dashboard - Other files to do with dashboard / dashboard settings (specific dashboard error). So fix the dash and you fix the error. _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th

if you got eeprom backup you can use my tutorial on upgrading a hd in asoftmodded xbox with a pc.
if you don't have eeprom backup ; you will need to use my hotswap tutorial
As in it wont do anything but show error screen 16.

Ah.. ok, I just didn't want to do anything to a box that doesn't power up. Know what I mean Jean?? The broken box is a softmod, so if you were to use the auto installer and resoftmod it, that should bring it back to life, I would think? _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th

Well, I attemtped putting splinter cell back in and reinstalling, but my box does nothing but goes to the error screen. LoL this sorta sucks.

my friend had the same problem with his xbox. i think xbox's with error 16 can't boot games or anything
