i just bought a wireless linksys router. i used to have a cross over connection to my pc from my xbox but i took out the wired nic so i can use the wireless moto card in the desktop...it works fine from desktop to hub and internet but when i connect from the xbox to router with wire it does nothing....cant ftp or do xbconnect (i couldn do that before ne way) i need to kno like what ip's to set to each machine: desktop, xbox, router...also the gateways and the subnet...thanks for ne help...sorry if you cant really make this out...i was in a hurry

hope it helps ya.. If youve got evox installed as a dashboard you shouldnt have any problems connecting to your xbox using ftp.

Another tip:
Turn off all software firewalls until you have your xbox and pc network setup.. Smile
