ok i found a wireless router through www.tigerdirect.com for 20 bucks it has 50MBPS and has 4 ports its a d-link so it should be worth while now i have no clue what do i put in my xbox a pccard? or what maybe i should read the forum again on this topic well TTYL _________________ xbox v1.0

You would need a wireless plug in device like I've got.... check the sig below.

For 20 bucks more, you can get an OEM style HDD from new egg, (200 gb, 7200 RPM, 8mb cahce) for 103.99 (with expedite invoicing), I got it in 2 days. (mine is the 6Y200P0 and that is what it cost) _________________ XBOX v1.6

ok thanx newegg.com is pretty cheap but look for a external harddrive i want to make a little 360 in there so thanx and i will look into that harddrive though if u dont find a external because i dont think anyone isgonna do it the way im gonna make it i will make a tutorial when i find the drive and the time but thats the near future so thanx for the info _________________ xbox v1.0

You aren't talking about an external USB drive, b/c I don't think it has the drivers for that. And are you going to be doing like an outside case or something? I didn't even think to look at if it was a laptop hdd and you are just going to slide it.
But yea, try looking for the OEM style hdd, SOOO much cheaper b/c they are overstock. no packaging or anything pretty. _________________ XBOX v1.6

whenever you rip a original game i would suggest you use DVD2XBOX so it removes any copy protection automatically when copying from the xbox dvdrom drive to your xbox hdd..
Once it has copied over to your xbox hdd you can then ftp those files and folders to your pc to make a XISO and burn.. This is the best way..
anyway, apart from that i cant help much. Ive never patched DOA.. Im sure its simple anyway,
You will probably need PPF-o-matic and the patch file.

Hi,
It cant be hard.. You will need a PC patching tool like 'PPF O MATiC'.. Look in the normal downloads section and im sure you will find ppf o matic..
Then get the patch file and the default.xbe.. You will then fun ppf o matic and choose the default.xbe and the patch file.. Then GO.
Done.
Ive never done it but it will be no different to anything else.
