I wanted to play some xbox live but instead of clicking restore I clicked delete. Is there anyway I will be able to get the MS dash back onto my xbox and still be able to play xbox live? Can someone please give me step by step instructions if you can.

I tried that but when I rebooted my xbox it still runs the EvoX dash. When I go to launch MS Dash it just stays on a screen that sayd auto installer deluxe.
Any help?

hi shadow,
as long as you use the AID2 correctly it will install the M$ Dashboard for you no probs..
Since you are using a softmod choose 'Softmod Menu' then choose 'Install Dashboards' and choose 'nkpatcher + M$ Dashboard' to c: drive..
Hopefully it should kick back in for you.
Ive only done a few softmods myself so im no expert.. Just trying to leave as much info for you as possible.

Ok I tried that but it just froze my box. I let it sit for 5 mins then I restarted it and now its giving me error 14. I loaded up the softmod installer but it wont let me reinstall the mod anymore. copied discs dont work either. How do I fix this now seeing as my xbox was fine until I did that thing you said to do.

I hope you read through posts entirely.. Im just giving you options that have worked for me in the past.. Like i said I have only ever done 3 softmods now.. (a few)
What i would suggest is this.
* Boot the original GAME AGAIN and start to install the softmod from scratch. You obviously missed something.

shadow322,
Firstly I'd appreciate you not having a go at Forahobby, since he was only trying to help you out. You obviously don't know a lot about Xbox Hq othwersie you would've known that he is the #1 here (Owner / Site Admin), so a little bit more respect wouldn't go astray.
As far as your problem, try this.
1) Grab SID 3 (bundled within the AID 2 package) and copy it to your memory card or USB Device
2) On your Xbox, access the MS dash and go to the Memory section.
2a) Go to the Hdd and delete any old SID gamesaves from there. Exit out of the HDD section
2b) Go to the memory card / usb device, select the gamesaves and copy them over.
3) Insert your Game (007, Splinter Cell, Mechassault)
4) Use the Install Softmod option to initially softmod your xbox
5) Boot AID 2, and go to Install Dashboards, Select the MS Dash (this will wipe the softmod temporarily)
6) Boot your Game again, this time use the "Create MS Backup" option before the "install softmod"
7) Boot AID 2 again, go to the softmod section, and install the nkpatcher+ms dash option. It will ask for a location to boot a dashboard from, so make sure you choose the right one.
If need be, install a hacked dashboard, make sure you're still in the softmod section as the dashboards here are designed to work with the softmod properly.
All done...
Hope that helps.

I did use the backup ms dashboard before but it got deleted like I said in my first post. If I try to install the softmod again I just get an error. Beofre I fucked everything up I made a backup of my c drive and me E drive. What would happen if I just replaced all the broken files on the xbox with the files I have. Would it work?

The only way someone would know "for sure" is if they had exactly the same problem, so you could be waiting a while to find out.
Just stop being a big baby and do it already, it can only fix things not make it worse
