Hi all,
Today I was able to pick up my X3CP with Xapt3r and started my modding right away
All is fine when it comes to functionality and looks of the X3 and X3CP, but unfortunately I cannot get the IR or HD/LAN led to work. The switches work perfectly and so does the LCD. Looks neat
I am running X3 3294 BIOS which I flashed myself (whoo! )
Does anyone have any idea where I should start looking ? There are no seperate connectors for IR/HD/LAN as far as I can see, and I also don't have much space on my X3 left to connect them on

You actually have to solder the HDD and LAN wires. Look at teamxecuter.com's install guide. Its a 3 wire connector, you will only use 2 the 3rd is for the D0. _________________ XBOX v1.6

Ah, thanks ! Would you happen to know anything on the IR thingie ?
I guess Xapt3r doesnt cover the LED soldering then .. would have been useful to put that in the guide as well
BTW: I am putting together a photographic diary of my xbox mods, so other people can take advantage of my errors.. couldn't find one online for the xapt3r/x3cp combo yet

No word on the IR, last I saw before they took the update bar down from the webpage was about 60 % done and that was a couple of months ago. There are a few other IR mods that people are doing that work, XiR Mod and one other I think.
I am going to wait for Xecuter's IR, I have already invested nough into executer to keep it going as a theme on my box. I will probably end up getting the GC case also _________________ XBOX v1.6
