Hi,
I installed a softmod succesfully, however when I start with eject the softmod menu appears, powerbutton gives me evox. I've installed a larger HD with gentoox. I can start this with gentoox.xbe or using a bootloader bios also provided by shallax. I would like my xbox to start Linux when using the eject button and another dahsboard using the powebutton.
I tried to replace open.bin with gentoox.bin but this results in a black screen.
Any suggestions?

OK, since Gentoox will install itself to E Drive, you'd have to rename the gentooxx.xbe file to evoxdash.xbe, then set your softmod up to boot E:\evoxdash.xbe. This should let you boot straight into linux with the tray closed.

So far so good, but is it possible to start another dashboard with the tray open? So far the second bootoption seem the softmod menu....

You would have to make a copy of the closed.bin and edit it with the BFM version of EVtool so that it boots E:\evoxdash.xbe first, then rename it to open.bin and upload it to your Xbox.
