I went to play Killer Instinct 2 using Sureal64 emulator... it loaded.. then went to black screen... had to reboot box the hard way (getting up and pushing button).. and now.. my dashboard is Jacked... it still has the skin.. but everything else is gone but MS Dash, Reboot, Power Off, Settings, and backup ...were the hell did all the other menu things go?

This is the second time its happened.. I had to use the AID Disk to re-install Evo X.. and it worked fine... can this issue be fixed without having to NOT play my Roms using the n64 emulator?? and also i dont have the AID disk.. can i FTP Evo X w/o loosing all my information??

hey,
this actully just happend to a buddy of mine last night. As you said- we just re-installed Evox and it worked fine. Aslo- dont be afraid to FTP into your box, it should work more than fine! although im not sure what could do it. And try using a diff. Emulator rather than surreal- that one is scary- i used it and the same deal happend for me- had to get up turn the xbox off and on- then BAM!! just like..error 16- still havent gotten that one fixed (in fact mod god has it now.)

Hey.. well i figued out what was wrong.. but i never found out why it happened... somehow it messed up my evox.ini file.. so basically everything after the "Bois" section was gone.. so thats why i didnt have all my menus.. everything was still on there... just no way to acess them thru the Evo X Dash.. so if n e one else has this problem.. they shouldnt have to re-install evo x.. just save a copy of ur evox.ini file somewhere so all u have to do is FTP to ur Box and overwrite it.. =o) thx for the help
