I think he's asking whether or not original games will boot from disc on a modded xbox....
If you are, then, yes.
If you're asking if you can copy your original games to your hard drive, and then launch them from there, yes. Do as the user above me stated. (I'd recommend DVD2XBOX. Personal preference.)
