i have eveerything that i need all i need to do is transfer file from pc to x-box. i'm using a router everything is working right, so i tried to drag the evox.ini and evoxdash.ebe to the c drive like the tutorial says's i did that and i also changed the network paramiters like it say's. i put them in the x-box's c? folder. i viewed them in the x-box folder and they are on the x-box. i loaded up the evo bios and the dashboard didn't come up. only the ms dashboard. i checked the network setting and they are all good. i'm not sure about the dns1 though. what did i do wrong. can some one help please.

Personally, I have never done it manually...even though I should a few times..lol.

It's best just to get your hands on an installer. Why don't you download the newest Java Runtime and Azeurus bit torrent program and grab AID 2.0 installer and let it do all your dirty work for you.

When you do it manually, there is just too much dicking around with .ini files and stuff.

it depending on what bios you are running.. Smile

Most newer bioses look for evoxdash.xbe on your E:\ or C:\ drive of your xbox.. Some older bioses only look for xboxdash.xbe so you may need to rename your M$ Dashboard from xboxdash.xbe to msxboxdash.xbe and then rename EVOX to xboxdash.xbe and then boot it up.

Really you should already know what bios you have otherwise you wont know what to do..

Download the AIDeluxe anyway, its the best bet..
