Dose anyone know of any good tutorials on how ,where to instal roms, you know, what folder, what directory? If i open up say a Gameboy ad. rom, - 1931 - Contra Advance - The Alien Wars EX (E). i unrar the folder & open it, and theres just one folder! is this normal? the file has a .gba extention. Are all roms the same? As in once i got the emulator for that system (gnuboy)to run on my box, do the roms matter what they were made for? As in pc or xbox. thanks much!

All roms go to different folders depending on your file structure.
For instance, I have the rom you mention. My Hd is setup like this:
F:/Emulators/XboyAdvance/gbaroms
So, naturally they would go in the gbaroms folder that is inside the XboyAdvance folder that is inside the emulators folder, that is inside the F: partion folder.
Depending on your setup that may vary slightly, but just look for the roms folder withing the emulator's root folder and you should be okay.

Ha..yeah, you can tell where I hang out..
I have over 4000 posts here...I have about 180 at Xbox-Scene..and 175 of them are at the buy sell forum which I used to frequent a lot when I was looking for odds and ends...but too many scammers so I don't bother much anymore.
I haven't been on here much in the last week because I just got out of hospital and have been catching up on work at my shop, but you will usually see me here everyday quite a few times.

I am also the Co-Admin here at this site. If you are from the US you can just mail me a money order, and then I will donate 10.00 to the actual site owner on your behalf with your account info. He will then update your account to VIP asap so you can enjoy the VIP benny's.
My site is more of a retail site. I do have a forum, but they are only for customers who like to post their first few questions in an inactive forum. Feel free to drop by though, I don't mind.
I have been gearing up for a new site now for like six months.. I swear I am never going to finish it. I made serious progress about two months ago when I hired someone to do work for me...lol. Ask me how much I have done since then...lol.
I thought for sure if I paid someone to do 60% of it that I would finish the rest quicker....nope....

You would have to know your server names and such...
like if you had comcast your server name may be mail.comcast.net for your ougoing... and same for incoming, but sometimes the incoming is different than the outgoing due to using different servers.
Then of course you have a username and password you have to know.
Call your internet provider, they can help you. Or, do the easy thing. Get webbased email...lol. Just like funky said. Hotmail, Yahoo, etc..but, the problem with those is, sometimes they require you to have a reg email account and verify it by replying or clicking on a link they send you.
