I have used Memorex CD-RW and DVD-R media with no problems. You can try anything you have in front of you.

i also use memorex and have not had a problem at all i burn at 4x and they still work great!!!!!! see ya, CANDMA

I've used CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R and DVD-RW. All seem to work fine for me.
