I have already roms for Mame32 will this work on the xbox and also roms for snes9x.

If you mean is there a way to make your own Rom addon packs using the AID 2.0 ISO Updater, yes you can. However it could a little confusing.

yeah I saw that tutorial and I know what you mean to make my own rom sets but I was thinking if you could download roms from the AID updater. Or do I need to download the roms and then follow the tutorial.

All the AID updater does is extract a RAR file into the extracted xISO (which is AID 2), then creates a new ISO.

You'll have to download the roms yourself and follow the tutorial.
