If you have a virgin HDD (meaning you’ve just bought it and it’s not formatted), Auto-Installer Deluxe v2.0 can automatically format the drive for you (thanks to the wonders of the UnleashX system which powers Auto-Installer Deluxe). Although, there might be times where it might not format your F and G Partitions properly. Go to the Format / Prepare HDD option and format the drives again after you’ve done a reboot on the initial format.
Can someone tell me if I buy a modchip and a new harddirve and run the AID v2.0 will I be able to format the harddrive and install the AID2.0 on it.

Yes, new hard drive and chip you will be able to run AID v2. However, you must first flash your chip with a hacked bios. _________________ Xbox v1.3

some modchips have a hack bios/os that will allow you to format the hdd.

you will need to flash your spiderchip with a hack bios. then you can use the AID v2.0.x to format your hdd.

Are the hack BIOS the ones that AID v2.0 have already so you can flash your modchip. Or do I need to find them some where else.

AID has them but you wont be able to use them because you need to have a hacked bios on your chip to boot the AID disk.
you need to make a bios disk. here is what your spiderchip flashbios looks like:
** Make sure your bios.bin is ONLY 256k. the spiderchip doesnt support bioses over 256k.**

I think I know how to make the BIOS cd by looking at the tutorial. Know I need to get the hack BIOS. Can you tell me the names of this BIOS just to know that I am flashing the mod chip with a proper hack BIOS.

1) you need to dertermin your xbox version.
you can use this tool for finding your xbox version:
if you have a version 1.6-1.6b you can/should use:
evox m8plus_16

Also, I have the "evox m8plus BIOS and its 256k" in size in the AID v2.0 but you say that I need the hack BIOS how could I determin that.

oK thanx for your help then I just need to make it a ISO and burn it to the CD. Also the extension of the evox m8pluse is file is a "BIN". And finally can I install any dashboard or only the evolutionX.

make sure you follow the directions in link i gave you for making the bios cd/dvd. if you dont have everything setup properly then the bios cd wont work.
after you burn the AID .iso to a cd/dvd boot your xbox up with aid cd/dvd in the xbox dvd drive. now you can choose what you would like to do.
you can use whatever dash you prefer... try em all and use the one you like best.
