Hey guys,
Im a bit stumped.
Ive got a 300GB Seagate HDD I am trying to install into a friend's box.
I just cant seem to get this sucka to partition for nothin'.
The Xenium Chip (XOS2.3) wont do it, and I have AID in the DVD drive and it wont butt except to an error 21 screen. I tried the HDD out in my xbox and it does the same thing.
It worked in my PC. then I unpartitioned it again to try again in my xbox and still nothing happened.
Any other ways I can do this?

I just put the disk back into my PC to test one more time.
I formatted it, but this time I moved files to it to see if it would coppy.
Everything worked.
I just cant seem to partition the drive freom the Xbox. and the AID isnt an option because it gives me an error 21 without even booting to the DVD.

If you are unable to launch AID from his machine it is most likely due to his dvd drive not reading your media. Im beating my head on the desk on this one...
I have tried the harddisk with the AID disk in the 1.0 box (with a samsung) as well as my own 1.6 box (phillips) Every time I get an error 21.
If I put the AID disk into the 1.0 with the stock HDD in the AID will boot. Same goes with my 1.6.
So Ive tried to partition the drive via Xenium Ice [which is how I partitioned the 2 300GB disks I have now] and AID.
Does anyone have any other suggestions on a program to prep this drive?
I would hate to have to get my friend to send back this disk to exchange for a WD drive just because it wont work in an Xbox. _________________ -Scourge "Rx = +/_\"

Progress:
I have gotten a copy of XBOXHDM 1.9 and put it on a DVD-R
Now instead of error 21 I get error 16 (no dash)
I guess thats some progress...
I suspect theat the DVD I made wasnt "full" enough, so I guess Ill slip a dummy file in there and try it out.
If this dosent work Im gonna give slayers a spin
If anyone else has suggestions Im up for em...
