Hi, I softmodded my xbox a year ago, was difficult but I got it working and left it that way, until now. Thought I'd try your installer so I don't have to boot splinter cell everytime, and can maybe run games off of the DVD.
Anyway, currently no matter which dash I use my XBE's aren't working. My bought games do work still so I'm guessing I need to set a new bios somehow.
I feel a bit dumb, but maybe someone can let me know how to configure a default installer 2 with PBL disk tray open install, to use another bios by default?
If this isn't my problem, or the software simply won't run off of the DVD drive, thats useful info too. All my current software uses the habibi key which I understand should work?

went through it all again after a nights sleep. It seems that the softmod isn't loading a bios. Allthough everything else is working fine, dash, XBMC etc, I just can't run XBE's that aren't retail.
My old setup required that I have my SC DVD in the DVD drive to boot the softmod and dash. Now the dash works without SC. Anyone know why PBL doesn't seem to be working?
I used softmod 3 BTW
