I used my xbox to help bro trouble shoot his spyder chip got it working in mine but fragged bios install so it is dead just got xecutor 2.6ce installed used programer and loaded it with flash bios 3.0.3 and M8-16 first startup 3 start flsh red green used AID disk start up with found new hard drive do you want to format went through format process and it started over with found new hard drive do you want to format ran it again then it goes onto could not load all files this could be due to low space on c: or e: partition try ftping to xbox turned of xbox switched to bank 1 got bios screen
HDD: ST310211A 6.55 10.4GB Unable to get first sector, returned 1
DVD: Thomson DVD
Unable to read HDD first Sector getting partition table
restarted xbox on bank 2 shows loading screen EVO X in corner then
error screen with code 16
does NE one know what is wrong and how to fix
Problem solved Hdd was bad so i got a new one

Very strange. Sounds like the hdd may be stuffed but maybe not..
Just keep trying.. If the hdd is unlocked try putting it in your PC and use a WINXP boot cdrom or something to delete the partitions..
Then insert it in the xbox again and let it format..
anyway, i hope another member with more info may come to the rescure as i have never seen this prob,
