i had installed the chip which gave me the blue screen on both bios banks ,i installed the cromwell bios on to chip ,me thinks wrong bios!!. now the machine turns on and off three times then flashes red and green. i have a blank screen on both bios banks. have tried pressing both buttons at the same time but cant get the old bios back. help please. need advice . at the moment i`ve taken the chip out and using xbox normally.

It definitely sounds like you flashed the wrong size bios to the wrong sized bank. Or the bios was corrupt.
Plus, the cromwell bios will only be good for loading Linux. You will not be able to launch backups, dashboards, or other applications.
