I've been studying up on xbox modding and i bought a 200gb hard drive and i was going to buy the xecutor 3 mod chip until i saw that softmod installer.....and i had some questions...would the softmod allow me to save games and movies to my hard disk like it would wtih a chip?...or will the chip be better in the long run?..i'm just curious...any suggestions would help..thanks

You're going to find advocates for both... everyone has their opinions..
Personally, I like using a chip in a mod. It's really up to you how you decide to procede..

I have done the softmod's and chip mod's. You can do the samethings with either setup. However, a softmod is software based and is easy to get messed up. I personally feel better when using a chip. _________________ Xbox v1.3
