Really, nothing is different..just size and content.
Just like your computer. You have C drive, D, E, F, and whatever else you may have..
It's primarily for organization.. it's how the applications know where to look for certain files, or to save your game progress...stuff like that.
X, Y, Z are cache drives...they should really never be messed with unless you are having problems with them.
If you are saving games on your E drive, that must mean you have a stock Xbox drive..8-10GB in size. As the HDs get bigger, you have more partitions...hence the F drive, and in some cases a G drive. If you had a 40GB HD or larger, you would have an F drive.. if you had a HD larger than 137GB then you could add a G drive if you wanted... I stick to 6 partitions for the most part... it's just preference.
But, with the stock Drive if you dont have any more storage..you arent going to squeak out any more partitions/drives...
Hope that helps.
